Immigration compliance policy

The Moweaqua Public Library District (MPLD) complies with the requirements of federal immigration law. For all employees hired after 1988, MPLD shall have a properly completed form I-9 which shall be kept as a part of its permanent personnel records.

Copies of Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) can be obtained through the U.S. Department of Justice Immigration and Naturalization Service or through the personnel office of your library system.

The Library may use the E-Verify system (formerly known as the Basic Pilot Program), accessible through www.uscis.gov, to verify employment eligibility online.
