Display space and exhibits policy
Approved May 2024

The Moweaqua Public Library District (MPLD) maintains bulletin boards and display cases to promote the Library’s services and programs. Although patrons are invited to make suggestions for themes, the responsibility for design and placement of all displays rests with MPLD staff.

Occasionally, exhibits from sources in the community may be allowed in the Library.

All exhibits considered for space within the Library must support the mission of the Library and not cause disruption of the regular flow of Library work or service.

The placement of such exhibits will be at the discretion of the librarian and/or the Board of Trustees.

Such exhibits will remain in place for no longer than four weeks, with setup and removal being the responsibility of the exhibitor.
The Library assumes no liability for damage or loss relating to any exhibit set up for public viewing in the Library and will take no extraordinary measures to ensure exhibit safety.
